Terms of use

About these terms
These terms are between you and [Company legal name] (“we”), who run EcoTrack. By signing in you agree to them. If you use EcoTrack for an organisation, you confirm you may do so on its behalf. Your organisation may also have its own agreement with us, which applies first if it differs.
Your account
- Keep your password and your two-step sign-in codes private. Do not share your account. You are responsible for what is done with it.
- Tell us straight away on 0759 657 590 if you think someone else has used your account.
- Give accurate information. Weights, locations and records you enter may be used for invoices, reports to regulators and verification, so they must be true.
What you may not do
- Enter false records, alter or try to hide records, or record a pickup or delivery that did not happen.
- Try to see data that is not yours, bypass the access rules, or interfere with the service.
- Use the service to break the law, including waste, tax and data protection law.
We may suspend an account that does this, or that puts the service or other people at risk.
Your data
The records you and your organisation enter remain yours. We use them to provide the service as described in the privacy notice. Reports and figures EcoTrack produces, such as emissions estimates, fees and payroll deductions, rely on rates and factors that can be edited and may be illustrative. Check them before you rely on them for reporting, payment or filing. They do not replace professional tax, legal or regulatory advice.
Availability
We work to keep EcoTrack running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Parts of it work with no signal and send data later. Actions that need a connection say so and have to be repeated. Our service targets, support hours and any service credits are set out in [your agreement or schedule].
Our responsibility
[To be completed by your lawyer: limits on liability, indemnity, and anything else your agreements require. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.]
Ending and changes
You may stop using EcoTrack at any time. We may change these terms or the service and will tell you in the app about changes that matter. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction. Questions: [privacy email address] or 0759 657 590.
