EcoTrack

Every kilogram of waste, on the record.

Kenya’s cities produce more waste than anyone can verify. EcoTrack gives each load a tag, a manifest, a weighbridge entry and an independent check, so collectors, recyclers, counties and producers can all point at the same number.

An example record. The weights are made up, but the shape is the real one: a 3 kg difference between pickup and weighbridge is shown, not smoothed over.

One record, four different reasons to want it.

Collectors and recyclers
The problemLoads go out, tonnes are claimed, and nobody can prove which is which. Clients dispute invoices and regulators ask for paperwork you do not have.
What you getRoute plans, tags and manifests that work on a phone, weighbridge entries, invoices with M-Pesa collection, payroll and fleet in the same place.
Counties and NEMA
The problemLandfill limits and recovery targets are reported by the people being measured.
What you getLicences, inspections, enforcement and a live view of every load, with a record trail nobody can quietly edit.
Producers and PROs
The problemExtended producer responsibility means proving your packaging was recovered, not buying a certificate you cannot check.
What you getTargets by material, recovery credits traced to weighed, verified loads, and fees worked out from what was actually proven.
NGOs and funders
The problemImpact reports are written after the fact and rarely tie back to a kilogram.
What you getInformal collectors paid on verified weight, and reports with a public check link and QR that anyone can open.

Your clients get a portal to request pickups, pay invoices and see their own impact. Residents can report illegal dumping with a location and earn points for drop-offs.

How a kilo is proven.

Five steps, always in this order. Each one is written by a different person, and each one adds to the last without changing it.

  1. 1

    Collect and tag

The collector scans the pickup and a tag is made on the phone, even with no signal. It carries the source, waste stream and a check code.

  2. 2

    Manifest

Tagged loads are grouped onto a manifest for one vehicle and one destination. The driver and the receiver both sign it.

  3. 3

    Weigh in

At the facility the weighbridge reading is recorded against the manifest. A gap between collected and received weight is flagged, not hidden.

  4. 4

    Process

The recycler records what each load became: recovered material, residue and what went to landfill.

  5. 5

    Verify

A regulator or a municipal officer, who does not work for the recycler, confirms the record. Only then does it count toward a credit or a report.

Built for how Kenya works.

  • Pay by M-Pesa

Clients pay invoices with an STK push. Payments match to the invoice automatically, and the same callback never counts twice.

  • Works on a weak signal

Tags are generated on the phone, so a collector can label a load before the network comes back.

  • Made for NEMA and the county

Licensing, manifests, inspections, enforcement and landfill tracking sit in the same system as the loads they govern.

  • Payroll with Kenyan statutory deductions

PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and the housing levy are worked out per employee, approved by a second person, and posted to the books.

Start with the loads you already move.
